The Brewery/Restaurant “Zum Löwenbräu” in Aischgründ has been in operation since 1747. Today, the ninth generation of the Family Wirth runs the business.
The restaurant serves Franconian cuisine, unfiltered home-brewed beers – such as the prize-winning “Aischgründer Carp Wheat Beer” or the “Home Brew – Cloudy with Yeast.” Also offered are beer schnapps, beer liqueur, fruit brandies – all from the own production. Furthermore, you can buy homemade malt grist bread, beer jelly, and beer truffles. Beer also adds flavor to many of the dishes prepared in the kitchen. If all what is offered seems overwhelming, then you should rent a hotel room and take your time exploring it all!
